Why Aging Amazing exists

Important decisions are hardest when reliable answers are difficult to find.

Aging Amazing grew from a real family experience. When Andrew's mother developed a serious heart condition, helping his parents meant navigating physicians, hospitals, Medicare, the FDA and a medical procedure that had not yet been approved in the United States.

The procedure ultimately went well. But the experience revealed how often older adults and the people who support them must make complicated, consequential decisions while they are already under stress. Useful information may exist, yet still be scattered, difficult to understand or hard to connect to the situation at hand.

Aging Amazing was created to help close that gap – with practical conversations, credible resources and respect for the experience, dignity and choices of older adults.
